Transcript Request Instructions

HHS TRANSCRIPT REQUEST Instructions Transcript requests are made through Naviance. You must be logged into your RPS account and go through Clever to access Naviance.

IMPORTANT: If you are under 18, you must have a records release on file for your transcript to be sent to a college or anywhere else. You can turn those into the main office for Cindy Coleman, or you can email them to her cindy.coleman@rpsar.net.

Transcript Dos and Don'ts:

- Don't use the "Other" tab when requesting a transcript unless it is for a personal copy. There you can fill in your address or put in the notes that you will pick it up at the office. 

- Do use the college search and add the colleges, universities, and vocational and trade schools that you will be applying to.

- If you cannot find a school in the drop down selection, please email cindy.coleman@rpsar.net to have the school added. If you do not request the transcript to be sent by electronic means with this drop-down, it will actually take longer. It has to be manually extracted from the registrar's files and mailed through the postal service. It could take up to three weeks. Then, it has to be processed by the school you are sending it to. Please contact Cindy Coleman if you are having difficulty finding your schools in Naviance. 

- Don't give up too easily on the college search drop-down. The schools are not listed in any particular order. (Alpha or otherwise) Keep searching. 

- No student should send their transcript through Common App. Our high school does not use this portion of the app and cannot send it. The request sits in the system. You need to request the specific school that it should go to.
